No new Suzukis planned for 2010

Hope this is not a re-post. Find this very interesting. Why can Suzuki not dump the "R" bikes like Honda and Kawasaki did?

Re: No new Suzukis planned for 2010

suzuki can't afford to. Same thing happened in 1984. Only the 1150 was new. I bought a new 83 GS750 in Oct '84. Puffman on the board bought a new 81 GS 650G in spring of '84

Thats what gets me Honda and Kawasaki Discounted, unloaded the old crap. Yamaha thinks there is no need from what I can tell. Both the local Yamaha shops have 4 2009 R1's sitting and no discounts. The Suzuki shop has no Discounts that I can see.

So it looks like Suzuki will be doing dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and crusers in 2010.

I just bought a discounted leftover 2008 SV650SF. Actually was a pretty good deal I thought. Put down a couple K and financed the rest @ 1.9%

Re: No new Suzukis planned for 2010

Suzuki is making plenty of '10 bikes, they're just not bringing them to the states.
Check with our friendly neighbors up north.. http://moto.suzuki.ca/Product%20Line...aspx?year=2010
They are getting the full compliment of 2010 bikes.
